Polo demais o almorzo estivo moi rico.
O peor viu logo cando comezou a chover e xa non parou.

Como me gusta a Cervexa do Tesco. I like so much the Tesco´s beer.
The story of this month is the story about the Hadrian´s wall. Finally it was very difficult to find it and sometimes I thought that it really doesn´t exist and it was only an English marketing strategy. 😉
FIRST ATTEMPT, OCTOBER. Linus, Marta and me rent a car in the middle of October. We woke up early and eat my first English´s Breakfast in a small village at half-way, in a coffe shop called Martha´s tea. When we finished the breakfast Marta said that she thought in give up the PhD and open a tea shop like this, and I shouted if she was crazy for to open the tea shop in the middle of nowhere… and I shouted this in English with the waiter behind my back…ummm very very embarrassing.
Then It started to rain and never stopped. We saw the Roman camp of Vindolanda. But It was raining so hard that the drops pained us, I can´t imagine the situation if it was hailing. And we didn´t see the wall in Vindolanda. Then we visited the Army Museum and here wasn´t the wall too (and I don´t recommend to go, you have to pay, it is very far and it only has a video and two bad reconstructions).
Finnaly we found a sign with “Hadrian´s wall” and we arrived to a place in the middle of nowhere and in the middle of the continuous storm we belief that we were seeing some similar to the wall in the distance, really I don´t know what I saw. After so many adventures we went to a pub lost in the field, and we eat a toffe hot cake, and it was really really good, so good that all the bad moments were worth. The pub was in the middle of nowhere, I must said it!!!!
That night I was invited to my first English-party at home, and it was great. I learned that North people talk more with two beers and they talk really more with six beers 🙂
On Sunday we went to Answik castle or the Hogwarts college of Harry Potter. This is a private castle which closes on winter… so, we want to find the duke´s son and get married….
SECOND ATTEMPT, NOVEMBER. On Sunday, 16th of November, we tried to find the wall for second time. Three Sevillian people helped us, they are Marta´s friends (Pascual, Ezequiel e Pablo). We were ready after to have a wild Chinese meal on Friday and to visit Newcastle on Saturday. This Sunday the day was very sunny, amazing!! It was raining hard on October but sunny on November. Crazy!!
We repeated the Vindolanda visit, but with sun we saw a camp when in our last visit we ran to save our life. Then we went to Houstesteads and there was finally THE WALL. We arrived tired after a long way but we kissed, jumped over and loved the wall, we took about one hundred of photographs.
The problem appears when we returned, in U.K. there is not many petrol stations and the majority closes at 6 o´clock. So, we haven´t many petrol and the car almost stopped at half-way. Finally we arrived home, and made the dinner; “tortilla de patatas” and Linus was the first to appear when he heard which the main dish was. Oh!! And the sevillians bought Tesco beer.. I thought in my health and did not try it …
At the end we saw the wall and our objective was carried out.
